Your wine adventure begins here

Valleris is a project born from a passion for natural wine and the desire to create products that tell the story of the region.

Our Family – Roots and Future

The Valleris story has its roots in the lands cultivated by grandfather Zvezdan and grandmother Elisabetta, our family's pioneers in the Collio region. It all began with them: a deep connection to the land, the seasons, and wine made as it once was.

Today, those lands have come back to life thanks to the commitment of the grandchildren, cousins Devid and Manuel, who have chosen to reopen the farm, breathing new life into a precious legacy. Alongside them is the constant support of their parents—Bojan, Edi, Sonija, and Pia—and the curious gaze of the younger generations: Izak, Ilaria, Victoria, Maximilian, and Aron, and the youngest members of the family, who are just starting to take their first steps in the vineyards.

Our Vineyards – The Soul of Collio

The Valleris vineyards extend across the rolling hills of Collio, on the border between Italy and Slovenia, in a unique landscape where viticulture is a vital part of the terroir. Here, soils composed of marl and sandstone (known as "ponca"), optimal exposure, and constant breezes create an ideal microclimate for growing grapes..

We grow Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon, varieties that find authentic, fresh, and mineral expression in this terroir. Since 2024, Ribolla Gialla, a native Friulian variety, has also been added to our vineyards, chosen for its extraordinary affinity with maceration and natural aging processes.

All cultivation practices follow sustainable principles that respect biodiversity, avoiding invasive treatments and promoting a balance between the plant and the environment. Each row is tended manually, with artisanal care, and the harvest is strictly done by hand, selecting only the finest bunches..

Our vineyards are not simply cultivated land: they are the living heart of every bottle.

The Cellar – Tradition and Life

In the heart of our cellar, time passes slowly and the wood breathes with the wine. We use 20-hectoliter oak barrels from Garbellotto, one of the oldest and most prestigious Italian cooperage companies, operating since 1775. Each barrel is the result of refined craftsmanship, crafted from carefully selected, long-seasoned oak from certified European forests..

Our 20-hectoliter barrels are made of fine-grained Slavonian oak, one of the most prized woods in European winemaking tradition. Slowly grown in the pristine forests of eastern Croatia, Slavonian oak is distinguished by its fine grain, structural stability, and low bitter tannin content.

These barrels aren't just containers: they're living custodians of our macerated wines. The fine-grained oak allows for controlled micro-oxygenation, encouraging the wine's slow evolution, enriching it with complexity, structure, and aromatic depth, without ever overpowering the varietal's identity.

The tasting room

Next to the cellar, surrounded by greenery, is our tasting room with a panoramic terrace and garden, a place designed to experience wine in complete harmony with the landscape.

A large, bright space, furnished with natural materials and clean lines, where wine always takes center stage. From the terrace, the view opens onto the rolling Collio hills, amidst neat vineyards and woods, with the sunset light coloring every glass.

In the adjacent garden, olive trees and aromatic plants complement outdoor tastings in a relaxed and authentic atmosphere. We welcome guests here every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to discover our wines, macerated right where they originate.
